Charity support

Collins Wealth Management celebrated 20 years in business in September 2023, with Founder Mike Collins, launching what was at first, Mike Collins & Partners, now Collins Wealth Management, back in 2003. Mike’s original ethos was simple; to help clients protect their family, grow their wealth and achieve their goals. 20 years later, we continue to build on Mike’s legacy growing a business we are extremely proud of; working with clients who become friends and working as part of a team that supports one another’s goals and ambitions, whilst sharing the highs and the lows together. Put simply, our business is built upon caring for and helping people and in celebration of our 20th anniversary, our team agreed it would be fantastic to celebrate in style with the same ethos that runs through the heart of each and every one of us.

Therefore, to mark our 20 years and to celebrate in style, as of 1st September 2023, we have commenced 12 months of charitable giving. Every team member has committed to be involved and between us all, we will complete 20 charitable initiatives…one to mark each year of CWM. There’s something for everyone to take part in from running, swimming and triathlons to Bake-offs, raffles and getting our loved ones involved (i.e. the dogs!) with a dog walk. There will also be fun ways for our friends, families and colleagues to get involved too which we will announce over the course of the year! We are particularly proud of a monthly ‘wellbeing’ fundraising effort, in which each team member will either give up or complete for a whole month, with the focus being on improving our health and wellbeing.

Throughout our 20 year history, it has been our privilege to raise funds for the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation and they will continue to benefit from our fundraising efforts. However, we also wanted to spread our support a little wider, helping those charities who have in turned helped our own team members through some of their most challenging times.

The five charities nominated by our team members are below with our objective being to raise £20,000 over the course of the year, which in turn, will be matched by St. James's Place with the ultimate goal of raising over £40,000 for our chosen charities and The St. James's Place Charitable Foundation:

  • Mind
  • 4Louis
  • R.E.A.L
  • Teenage Cancer Trust
  • Hayward House
